Thank you all for the nice comments. Fernstone is a really pretty red. Avedon, I got mine from Garden Crossings. Their plants are not cheap, but I have been very happy with anything I have ever gotten from them. I think this clump is three year sold, but it may just be two. Incidentally, I bought some of the million bells, and they are doing really well. they made it through the win ter just fine, but yours are spectacular.

What cultivar of the Kniphofia did you get? I sort of like the traditional pokers, but a lot of sources say the color will vary.
