First Bloom Siloam Double Classic

As is usually the case, Siloam Double Classic only singles first time out, but as time goes by, all the lovely doubles appear. This is not a good photo because this morning it was too cloudy and cool--mid 40's--to open well, but when the sun got on it, out it came. I took this pic about 2:00 this afternoon and I think the sun bleaches out some of the color. I know there will be good ones to come in the future, can hardly wait. Avedon

This is such a pretty color, I never mind that the first blooms don't double. I love Double Classic

I agree with Jean I think it's a great photo. It's great to start seeing blooms from everyone.

I have it on my waiting list. Now when it doesn't come up double the first time, I will know. Beautiful bloom! Marg

That's very pretty. Good to have a beginning, isn't it?

I wonder why it blooms single in the beginning and then starts doubling.
