Thought I would share this relatively easy garden idea. I realized during this past winter that I wanted more vertical interest in my gardens. So I put in a 6 foot post, sinking it about 1 1/2 feet in the ground, just put stones some clay soil, and stones to set it in. Then I have a solar cap on the post, which is really nice looking and does shine at night. Then I have the hanging basket on the post. I put one down by the lake too! It took a couple of days, but worth the effort. I was pleased with the result.
Now, daylily talk. I have scapes on Lava Flow, Web of Intrigue and Spacecoast Shell Cracker!!
New, from Florida, I have White Knuckle Ride, Sandy Mandy, both early bloomers. Then Dan sent Pencil Thin Moustache and Coral Nebula as bonuses!!
