About a year ago my computer was hit by a virus and I lost a lot of information and pictures. It's taken a while but I have since replaced most of it. The day the purple opened was a picture I lost. I thought at first it might have been diseased (boiled cabbage look - spring sickness?) but by the end of the season it was opening a bit better. I was going to toss it but decided to keep it, glad I did. It was in a bed with about 20 other seedlings. Last year I took a new picture of the bloom which, IMHO was better. I'm waiting to see what it does this year. Marg
