MALAYSIAN MARKETPLACE and M. MONARCH are two completely different daylilies, from different hybridizers, with 20 years separating them.

MALAYSIAN MARKETPLACE is definitely happy in the south. I think most of the people who post pictures of it are in the southern half of the US.

I know Rita in Long Island grew it. In fact, her pictures are what convinced me I needed it. But I have no real knowledge of Northern results with it.
