It's a much prettier color than the Pardon Me I used to grow. I prefer yours.

Yes, I always found the color on Pardon Me to be a muddy red, not like this one.

I think I have Pardon Me also somewhere and thought mine bloomed a brighter red but each garden is different. Nice pic.

That's not the Pardon Me I grew either. Pardon Me is the reason I've avoided most red daylilies. I call it a dead brick red color. Yours is a pretty plum purple. Very nice....Maryl
