Very rich color on Marietta Surprise. Are you getting some rebloom now? What are your favorites of the initial bloom season?

mantis; No reblooms yet,and so far,I haven't seen a single rebloom scape yet either which is very unusual.I usually get rebloom scapes starting before they are finished blooming,and a few days after the last bloom, reblooms starts. don't look like its going to happen that way this year.
my favorites is still WONDER OF IT ALL and EL DESPERADO.i really love WILD ONE, &CHINA BRIDE, too.I always look forward to seeing them bloom.

Marietta Surprise is looking good! I have an old daylily that was here when we moved in 12+ years ago that looks like Rocket City, but I was never sure. Hope you have more photos in store for us.

Marietta Surprise has gorgeous ruffles, and Rocket City is such a bright, wonderful oldie!

Thank you all for the great comments, (just when I was ready to give up on picture taking) Julia, yes Marietta surprise is a great 6 inch bloom and very dark in color, I love it. My baby one I raised from a prolif My very first one has buds, soon to open too.I am very excited over that one.
Debra, Marietta Surprise is a bloom machine when it starts. all gorgeous dark blooms. and rocket City likes to bloom, too and multiplys pretty fast, too.

My vote has to go to Marietta Surprise. Nice large bloom with a saturated color. How does the color hold thoughout the day?.........Maryl

maryL. the color hold very well here for MARIETTA SURPRISE. That picture I took was at almost 12 noon and it was not faded at all and it was nearly 90 degrees out, too. that sun was really putting out.
