First may be what is called Purple d'Oro. I assume your picture is an extreme close-up.

Actually, this seems to be the same daylily that someone discussed in July of 2013. It was purchased at WalMart and labeled Show Winner, which the thread noted is not correct. So WalMart has been selling a lot of these.

Hmmm. Those two pictures you added look ALMOST like the same flower to me!

If it's purple d'oro, and they bloomed repeatedly like the stellas, I wouldn't be unhappy about that! I guess I'll wait and see what it does. Thanks!

When I searched for "show winner" and walmart, another one came up called "Mildred Mitchell" that looks to me like my second picture. Would that be correct?

I found the thread from July '13 that has your second picture. Interesting! I would say my daylily looks more like your second picture than your first.

I have no idea what they are, but, to me,they are really pretty blooms.

Yes, I found the 2013 thread after I posted the Purple d'Oro, and it definitely looks as though your flower is the same as in the 2013 thread. Yes, the second one does look like Mildred Mitchell.

I kept all the pictures of the daylilies I bought at Walmart. That 2nd picture is Mildred Mitchell. The other may be Show Winner, although the package shows a very purple daylily. Height 16" - 24", mid summer .

i also have a lot of pictures of walmarts unidentified show winner...but it looks different every time it blooms, none of which looks like yours.

I wonder if the second photo may be Mildred Mitchell.
