Everything looks lush and green. We had those rains the first 4 months of the year, but May wasn't as wet, just nice and regular. I have never had the slug problems I have now. I had to order Sluggo on the net since the other two products I used did little. Sluggo should be here Monday, and I'm hoping it will work well.

You might want to prevent treat with slug bait.

Kay, I have Sluggo. I use it all the time! It does work but you can't get them all.

Well, we got a good rain, but May in general was dry. Your garden is flourishing; a paradise for frogs.

geez, Rita, it looks like your rose is way up in the tree.well, I just bet them daylilies are loving that rain and will reward you soon with fantastic blooms.The portulaca will put on a show too,as they also love the rain.After the storm we had here and a tad over 4inches of rain that night, two days later I had a yard full of blooms.My butterfly bush has just sat and not growed very much, but, it took off too,and grew..but now,I had to get out and water all the plants yeaterday and today too. just the pots,today. they dry out fast.,I'm very anxious to see your dayllies blooming.

Bet all the veggies loved that rain, too. I found 2 tiny little bell peppers this morning on one of my plants.its been years since I grew bell peppers and it was a nice thrill to see that little pepper.

Jean, I have some tiny peppers set on my pepper plants too. Last year the slugs ate my pepper plants and they all died. This year things are going much better.
