Lisa - It's interesting to see the sibs from the Trahlyta and Laura Harwood cross. You can really see that Trahlyta influence in most of them. My favorite is the first seedling. I also love that last seedling you posted with the blue band. I would give it more time, too. It's really pretty! Debra

The colors on that last seedling are beautiful. Don't throw it out!!! If it were mine, I would be looking for anything and everything that is rounder, opens well (cmo? recurved?) and is color compatible to cross it with.

I like to see how the sibs look from the same crosses. Interesting what characteristics they will show. Congrats on a nice grouping. Julia

I like all the color varions of the purple daylilies. Lighting really does make much a big diffence in color!

I try to get over early in the morning to get the pictures before they begin to fry in the heat. Some days I didn't make it until early afternoon. The purple ones are at my dad's house.

I like seedling #4 for its pencil eye. As Polymerous said, with that last seedling, don't wait for it to turn good -- instead, cross it with other good things and see if you can get its good characteristics along with theirs. Nate
