Here are Saturday's blooms part one:

Dracula in the a.m.

EYES A BLUE

MONTERREY JACK as a poly

INCENDIARY (I love the color and it has opened well for me)

RED SUSPENDERS

DESIRE OF NATIONS (Received it in the Spring to replace the one that died last Spring. It came from Florida so it is on their time even though it feels like Florida here)

STAR OF INDIA (Great flower minus my shadow)

Thanks for looking (taking advantage while the crew are still sleeping)

Very nice group of booms, David. I think my favorites today are Incendiary and Desire of Nations.

Desire of Nations is pretty, I wonder why the first one died?

Hard to choose, but I think Eyes a Blue and Monterrey Jack are my favorites.

Desire of Nations is richly colored. Did you initially lose it over the winter?

I had obtained a single fan of DON in the fall. It started growing in the spring and then it got smaller and smaller. I bleached it and it just disappeared. I haven't lost a daylily since moving to NY, but I lost two that year.
