Wineberry Candy and a newbie!

On the weekend we went to a local daylily nursery because I wanted to talk to her about a daylily I had bought from her. I swore I wouldn't buy anymore but ended up buying one anyway. We were strolling around the garden talking and rounded a corner and there was this bright neon yellow daylily I just had to have. It's an oldie, Faye '71 but I like the bright yellow with a green throat.

Here's a shot of Wineberry Candy, it's the first bloom that was good enough to post.

Thanks for looking. Marg

It's Erin Prairie. The flowers are 6" and when you see a large grouping, it really draws your eye to it. Her planting was about 3' wide by 5' long. She also told me it was a strong grower, my type of flower! Marg

Well, no wonder you liked it. It has such a nice bright color and just can't be missed. Wineberry Candy is a nice one also.
