The first one looks like a variety of H. fulva.

can you get a better photo of it and how tall is it and how wide is the flower?

Here are some additional pictures. The plants are in their first year in my garden, but they had been in a friend's for a few years. The blooms are smaller and colored a little differently now that we're dealing with the heat. The original picture is from the very start of July... the first bloom. The clump picture is about a week later. I would compare these in size and shape to the Purple d'Oros that I just bought.

I don't think your Ditch Lily lookalike is really the species. It's probably an early hybrid closely related to the ditch lily. The petals look wider and are not shaped exactly like the ditch lily. I have an early tetraploid with the same colors as ditch, but it doesn't spread so bad and blooms a little later. I never found out what the name of it was. My nextdoor neighbor knew it was a tetraploid, and she had been growing it for around 50 years.

Maybe Strawberry Candy? Mind you, I'm no daylily expert. The other ones look like ditch lilies to me.

I think it's too dark to be Strawberry Candy... mine are more orange-y than pink. But, SC is a pretty flower - guess I'll have to watch for it at the nurseries!

That second daylily looks like Chorus Line to me.

The first one looks very similar to the fulva species.

The second one looks like a hybrid, not CHORUS LINE, but a hybrid. There are many more unregistered plants out there than registered, and 1000's of the registered look very similar. I suggest giving it a garden name and being happy about it. Once the identity is lost, you can never be sure.
