Planet Max and Eggplant - too similar?

I bought both of these. I think Eggplant was labeled as Eggplant Electricity. Is it a valid name? I bought Planet Max some time ago, planted in a different flower bed. The flowers look so similar I decided to break off one of Eggplant ( on the right) and place it next to Planet Max. The flower may be upside down but you can clearly see they look alike, flower at the same time , are the same height, etc.
Has anyone grown both cultivars and compared them ?
