This is the closest I can come to colors for the holiday: red, tan, and blue.

A LITTLE FIRE, SCARECROW has very low bud count this time, but lots of scapes. I must get this one in full sun so it can produce tall scapes, more blooms, and rebloom.

CHEROKEE STAR has just started to bloom. I did finally get this in the ground and it has a decent bud count of 15-16 per scape.

PRETTY DESIRABLE and INTEGRATED LOGISTICS

INTEGRATED LOGISTICS looks much darker in color with the cool temps were are having today.

TRANCE is just starting to bloom today. It always makes a beautiful clump in the late part of the season.

COOL HAND LUKE looking very cool today.

BEST FOR LAST, an outstanding late from Thoroughbred Daylilies, had its ffo today. The hybridizer says the color is matte pink, but it's always looked lavender in my garden.

Lots of beauties today, but my favorite is the combination of Pretty Desirable and Integrated Logistics with their matching green throats. Cool Hand Luke is looking pretty spectacular, too. That's one of the few more recent Hansons I've been wanting that I haven't ordered yet.

These are wonderful but the first one, A LITTLE FIRE, SCARECROW is my favorite this go round.

Jkayd - You are right. Scarecrow is like its own firework.

Chris and Mantis - Cool Hand Luke is nowhere near its height of 40 inches here. I would say the scapes are 27-28 inches here for both last year and this year. But most everything is shorter than it should be this year. It's also missing that great lateral branching it had last year.

A Little fire Scarecrow is smashing. I also like Cherokee Star, a nice , bright, clear red. Pretty Desirable is looking good too. all phots great as usual.

You got me on Miss Goldie Golddigger. What a great color and profusion of blooms. Teddy Bear's Picnic still intrigues me and Cherokee Star is a real standout color.......Maryl

Maryl - Miss Goldie produces lots of gargantuan blooms on tall scapes that can be seen for long way.
