Loving the rain, the garden is exploding with bloom.

CONCERT TOUR An early morning opener, this one has had flawless blooms.

STAR OF INDIA Great this year (a few earlier splotchies)

MEDITERRANEAN MOOD So reliable

THE GOLDILOCKS EFFECT Marvelous texture to this Hanson award winner

FLAMINGO PARADE Too soon to evaluate this one

ESKIMO KISSES The picture flatters reality, in which colors are not so vivid. Some daylilies just take good photos, while others (while great in the garden) don't take such a good picture.

FRANK TEELE So vivid! Also, a good grower.

ROCK SOLID Talk about good growers!

HILLBILLY HEART Starting to perform wonderfully here. I had worried it might be marginal in this zone.

BONEY MARONEY low bud count

ROYAL LAVENDER This old Carpenter is performing well this year:

LINDA SIERRA in a pot

LEDGEWOOD FIRECRACKER Has performed well. Substance is not good in afternoon.

PRINCETON GRAPE I have way too much of this.

DESERT ICICLE Doesn't have a great location.

Your Linda Sierra looks fabulous! I thought about ordering it from Maryott this year since the price has come down so low. Ledgewoods Firecrackers is another eye catcher. I bought that on once, but never saw it bloom. It died over the winter in a pot. Your Hillbilly Heart clump looks fetching. I hope it does well for you. It remains one of my all time favorite blooms. I need to divide my clump and move it to more sunshine.

I really like my Rock Solid also. The Frank Teele looks amazing. I'll have to put that on my wish list!

They are looking really fine. Ledgewood firecracker is a favorite of mine and usually re-blooms. Linda Sierra is beautiful! I like Royal Lavender. Princeton Grape is a beautiful clump.

Linda Sierra is awaiting its home in the garden this fall. I was a bit startled by how blue the eye was, but it was an overcast day.

Ledgewood Firecracker really caught my eye. I'm a sucker for big bright eyes. Concert Tour is a lovely shade of pink and glad to hear it performs well. How does Alice Lambertson perform? And is it as white as it looks in the picture.

Beautiful daylilies! Like that Goldilocks Effect with green throat and light sort of midribs, Hillbilly Heart is very pretty and I also pick Ledgewood Firecracker as my third favorite, love that look.

Val, I moved Alice Lambertson a few years ago, and it does much better in its new, sunnier spot. But it is not highly vigorous. Your climate, though, is actually milder, I think, than mine. I get a number of beautiful blooms from Alice.

I like all of them especially Princeton Grape just can't get away from that color.

CONCERT TOUR is very nice. ROCK SOLID remind me of Sabine Baur, very nice one. PRINCETON GRAPE & ROYAL LAVENDER are both lovely. I like the color of RL. Marg
