Donna, I looked up SW and I don't believe that's it, the color is to light. Pardon Me is close but still not the same intense plum/magenta color. Thanks.

lalalandi, the NOID is not related to the seedling. That seedling and its siblings will stay in my garden because of the great branching and bud count. As for the NOID, this is the first year in my garden and I don't even know if it is a dip or tet so until I do I can't use it for hybridizing. I will try it on each this summer. It is an awesome colour so will definitely stay in my garden. The bc is only 8 and 2wb but this is only the first year here.

Marg, I have 2 possible suggestions
1. Welchkins
2. Little Wine Cup (looks alot like mine but you dont mention height or size of bloom)

I looked at Welchkins and that one seems to be more dark purple. Mine also has a green throat. Little Wine Cup is a possibility. I'll have to wait for the second bloom though. The flower is only about 4" (haven't measured yet) but the plant is only about 12". Since I bought it at a horticulture sale in Stayner, I'm thinking it may be an older variety? Thanks. Marg
