Today I'm liking #3 a bit more than #5. I like #4 equally with and without raindrops.

Hmm... not sure that this is going to be helpful.

The yellow does not look as good to me today as it did on the other picture, but I still like it.

The top pink-ish one (#3, I believe) does has its charm too. Yes, it has white midribs, but they aren't (to me) too obnoxious here (though I can't figure out why) and somehow it all works. (Perhaps because there is only a hint of a halo on the bloom?)

The last one, however, despite its beautiful wide green to chartreuse throat and nice ruffling, is marred for me by the midrib. I think maybe the problem for me there is that it obviously breaks up the eye pattern. Also the color is not as vibrant as on #3.

Whatever... for my taste, consider today a tie between #3 and #4 leaning towards #4 (which has more blunt sepals, no splotching of color, and the bonus of pink midribs).

(And no disrespect intended... We all have our likes and dislikes wrt the daylilies, and you did want a sampling of how we thought about such things. You can consider me an outrider, if you like. )

it's fun to look at siblings! definitely interesting. I like the second one with the green throat so bright! and the first one is nice too.

I have no problem with mid ribs, but #4 is my favorite too. It may be because I have a fondness for green throats and near whites. 3 and 4 are the best bloomers so I think I'll give those two,another year.
