That last one, Green Gates, is my favorite. Such a pretty color. I don't clean off spent blooms much on my daylilies either. Don't have the time or the energy to go and deadhead or livehead the entire garden. I am lucky of I remember to take spent booms off something I am taking a picture of.

As for spent blooms - when I have time I do it, Especially like to livehead, so when I go out it the morning I don't need to clean up before taking pics. I did a couple crosses these past years and I admit it was bothering me that I couldn't deadhead :)

Green Gates is just a gorgeous bloom. I also really like Jason Salter. And you're right. they are indeed "just as Pretty"

The spent blooms in the photos don't distract me. You may have noticed my recent photos have them too for the same reason you stated. Jason Salter has a very different pattern, and I always love seeing Siloam David Kirchhoff. That's one of the few miniatures I've kept around. When I first saw that one years ago I thought of it as having a rainbow eye.
