Vintage Wine has been for many many years my most reliable bloomer. No matter what, it just blooms and blooms well--many flowers, long season, near perfect blooms. Recently I've gotten 2 that are rivaling it, Bali Water Color and Carman Renee. In a couple of years they have really excelled. There was no adjust time for a new plant.

RE: Reliables

I can see from your pics why they are among your favorites. Especially like the cascading segments of Carmen Renee.

RE: Reliables

Hooray for good reliable plants! Love the pic of Carman Renee, very pretty.

RE: Reliables

I've had Bali Watercolor for many years, and it hasn't rebloomed since the first year I had it. I'm not sure if it's a lack of sun or water that prevents it from reblooming here. It always does well on its original scapes though. I love your photo of Carman Renee. I'll have to check out that one.

RE: Reliables

Thanks for the kind comments. Forgot to mention that Vintage Wine does have a weakness: it fades a bit in the really hot & humid weather.
