I'm impressed again. Every one of those seedlings from the first cross looks like a keeper, but I'm especially taken with 3, 4 and 6. Your group shot of the first unknown parentage seedling (very pretty) looks like soldiers standing at attention.

I would have a hard time culling if those were my seedlings! Every single one of them would be a keeper. 1-6 are my favorite though. Thanks for showing them.

I'm glad you enjoyed seeing the "kids". You just never know what a cross will produce.

Avedon: I'm not sure as it has a pinkish tone to the cream/white color of it. When it was in the front bed it was more white and now that it is in the back bed, it has taken on more of the pink/peachy tone. Could be the soil change and also all the rain we've had.

My biggest mistake is having my seedlings so close together when I planted them. Now that some of these are going on 3 years, the bed is overly crowded from the plants increasing.

I hope you have a lot of room because you sure have a lot of keepers. My very favorites are 2,4, and 6 in the first group. I also like the very last one a lot.

gee, I like all of them again. I oculd never cull any of what I have seen so far,as they would all be keepers.seedliing blooms # 1 , 2, and 3, I would have to keep all; of them. they are all keepers.

I have the same problem with overcrowded seedlings. The ones I'm planting out now are getting spaced 15 inches a apart, rather than 8 inches. I must have different taste than the rest of our posters. The second Soul On Fire X It is Finished is my top favorite. I adore white edged ruffled cherry reds like that. The pink out of Women Seeking Men is pure eye candy too!

Does the Women Seeking Men seedling have the same great plant habit? All of the first cross are interesting.

Numbers 2 and 6 are my favorites of this lovely group of seedlings.
