The trend seems to be for large flowers on tall scapes. I have acquired several 7 inch full forms in the past two years that are on 36 inch scapes. The newly introduced unusual forms and spiders seem to be in the 7-9 inch range.

This daylily certainly fits that category.

I do like that one, I almost got big bird daylily once but wasn't sure where to put it with enough sun and room to grow, here in OKC there is a lot of wind as well with the tall ones to be considered. great yellow!
