OK ......I meant to post subject as Whites and other.....so Voodoo Magic was meant to be the other. The edges on old Voodoo looked amazingly black today, and I have never seen them this dark here in my garden.

Wedding Gown and President Ronald Reagan are lovely whites. They look so pure and innocent, while Voodoo Magic seems dark and devious.

Wedding Gown looks very white. But just not willing to try Smith daylilies here unless they are proven hardy and vigorous. You are warmer.

I really like Voodoo Magic. president Ronald Reagan looks really nice. How does Wedding Gown do for you? I've had mine I think 5 years, got it as one big healthy fan. It took 2 years to bloom, 3 years to get another fan. The flowers are lovely & open well, but not a lot of buds & it has only increased to 3 fans. The plant is nice, healthy & sturdy looking, just not impressive. Not nearly the whitest in my garden either.

Wedding Gown is a slow increaser here too, and I waited a couple years for it to bloom also. The bud count averages around 8-9 buds per scape. I rarely have any registered DL that produces more than 10- 12 buds per scape here. I mostly blame myself for that as I don't baby my DL's. Wedding gown survived our Western PA winter with no mulch and I plant the DL's with crowns at surface level. If they're lucky they'll get fertilized once a year. I can get slack on watering too on occasion. I only grow 4-5 white DL's here and I would have to say that Wedding Gown and Small World Snow Fox are my favorites of the bunch.
