Next is Hakuna from gary Schaben his picture is closer to the right color than mine but oh well. When I inquired about this one he said it was a bit of an odd duck. Wish all of mine were odd ducks. This one is bifurcate. Four laterals plus top. Then laterals branch into laterals. All scapes have 40 or more buds and still building. Wish you could see the beautiful blue eye camera just could not pick it up. Good grief what nice plants these two are.

I really like the second one, its a beauty. sounds like you really got some winners there.

That's an Amazing bud count! Hakuna is a beauty.
I checked several of mine that used to have decent BC, not as many this year. One has a lot more scapes with an average of 15 buds, used to be 30.

Thanks folks, my main reason for posting is that Mike Derrow and gary Schaben aren't mentioned as much here. As I'm sure there are northern readers that don't post here. Wanted to let them know there are excellent plants out there for the northern garden. Nat, I have noticed that many do best in their 3rd year. After that lots of extra water if it dosen't fall from the sky. Mostly I have to be happy with what I get. There are some more over the top plants but will save for another day.
