Here's some flowers I have in the colors you are looking for. Back Draft is shorter than the rest, only 27. Persimmon is 29 and Twist & Shout is 28, but I have had them taller. Guinea Jubilee is 32. I should point out that my daylilies are often shorter than average for some reason. For someone else, they may be taller.

oh wow! Thanks for all the suggestions with pics! I just bought Indian Ripple but it's not tall enough for that spot.

I really like Wild One - again, not sure if it's tall enough but maybe. Yours looks great but other pics I googled looked more yellow and the orange was barely noticeable.

I wish Indian Ripple was tall enough.

Flaming Flamingo looks great but again, other pics I googled of it weren't so impressive. Plus I think it's a pricey one so can't take the chance.

Are you sure that's Twist and Shout? All the pics I googled show it as a red, not orange.

What about RICHARD HERBERT HAYNES? From a Region 3, New Jersey-based hybridizer - Rick Haynes.

It's registered at 38" and with a 9" flower and as a "glowing orange yellow red blend" and with yellow teeth. I don't get the "blend" bit - to me, it's almost a bicolor. But whatever you call it, you can call it flashy.

I don't have enough to spare, even though I got it from Rick some years ago. I gave a hunk of mine away to someone who likes gaudy, and it's still getting back to a decent size. But (hint, hint), it's on the lily auction even as we speak, and it's quite inexpensive.
