Some I thought were "eh" but ended up loving!

So glad I kept these because now I'm in love with them.
Please share your daylilies that took time for you to love too.

Ming Porcelain was one I bought my first year buying daylilies and never did much for me but this year it put on a show and I just love it's color and form. Different.

Tangible Distinction is a little guy that never appealed to me so I traded most of it but kept 2 small fans and it insists on blooming. When it's a small clump it's a blooming machine - cannot be kept down. So it wins a place in my garden for its' sheer tenacity.

Scarlet Orbit - man am I glad I kept some of this one. I don't know why I didn't fall in love with it till now. I traded most of it but kept some and I'm so glad I did. It has such a strong true red color and is so bright. Love it.

Scarlet Orbit is very fine. Your picture is blued a bit, but SO is brilliant.

I remember seeing photos of Scarlet Orbit before & it always seems to look good. I've had daylilies before I've not been impressed with til they clump up better & suddenly they are gorgeous. Not just that there are more blooms, the blooms just get nicer.

I'm more likely to get tired of them than to fall in love, but Joan Senior is one that I almost shovel pruned, and it has made me glad I didn't. It is a great bloomer and a pretty white.

They are all lovely!
I think I got very 'soft', have a hard time finding something I don't like - and I really need to. I have a few new ones in bad temporary places and one in a pot.

I have scarlet Orbit too, and I have loved it since I seen the first bloom on it..I don't have any that I don't just love it.At first,I wasn't happy about PAINTER'S SPLASH but, after it bloomed for a couple years, now I love it, too.
