Took pictures, uploaded to bucket, but then it was too nice a weather not to take advantage of and work in the yard.
So very late post again.
The yard looked very nice today, looks like daylilies are peaking already

I have an empty spot in this place, what color dl would you plant there?
Yellow is Happy Returns, and tradescantia is just usual blue

Chance Encounter - look, they opened! Almost all of them :)

I like this combination, Bombay Silk and Nan's first blush

When it's pretty, it is time to work, you are right about that. You have a lot of pretty ones today. Chance encounter is really pretty in that clump, and I like the delicacy of Tahitian Dancer. There's another pretty clump in Loaves and Fishes. My favorites are oul on Fire and Tower of Babel with an edge to TOB.

Great pictures! I really like Loaves and Fishes.

I don't normally think about what color goes where, but in your empty spot, I would think a purple-blue color to tie the yellow Happy Returns and spiderwort together would be nice.

I love that Chance Encounter clump! I just ordered that one but now I'm concerned since you mention it has issues opening properly? Uh oh. It sure is pretty when it does. My Lavender Heartthrob is loaded with buds but lagging behind yours. I also love that clump of Loaves and Fishes! Spectacular.

Chance Encounter is a real favorite, knockout picture of Loaves and Fishes, and red Soul On Fire is also a favorite. Avedon

Vickie thanks for the suggestion! I can never decide on color combos and end up with 5 diff. yellows or reds in a row. My DH said - one of those purples you have a lot of. So two votes for purple :) I don't have anything blue though, they are all red purple.
Celeste maybe you'll have more luck with Chance Encounter opening. Though this is the second day today when they are opening better! But, it is vigorous, tall, and the color is really pretty.

The Chance Encounter and Loaves and Fishes clumps are spectacular! I really like Lavender Heartthrob too. As for your empty space, I think an orange or a coral would look great there, or something with a red eye.
