Seeds on the Auction

Share your positive lily auction experience.

My first yr experience has been varied from 22% - 100% success.

The method used for all was to store seed received in a dark cool place. In early spring, place seed in hydrogen peroxide/water mixture in fridge for 3 weeks, then soil plant under lights, 16 hrs at 65-70f.

I take it some seeds are harder to germinate than others and my lack of experience would not be able to differentiate.

However, I would not buy seeds again from anyone that I didn't get at least 60% germination from.

These are the vendors with which I had the most success.

My seedlings are up and planted and I look forward to the surprises to come.

As an afterthought....does anyone contact the vendors in which your seeds did poorly to let them know or do you chalk it up to experience?
