Red Edition looks beautiful, as usual, and I'm really taken with the colors on Indigo Ruffles. Maybe there's a chance it will straighten out next year.

Red Edition is so pretty, I love reds with an edge like that. Indigo Ruffles has such a pretty color & look, big flower to boot, but sounds like it has some real problems. Too bad, but I bet you will get some great seedlings from it.

Wow, they are both beautiful! Love the white edge with the red on Red Edition. Indigo Ruffles color is great, and the watermark, and the edge, the rebloom!! Maybe next year it'll be better? But yeah, lack of symmetry bothers me too. I have Leaving Me Breathless and it's usually non-symmentrical. And I guess that's why I am not a fan of spiders and UFs, except some cascades

Another two so late? Boy, isn't that nice. I like Red Edition with all white edged ruffles. It's always refreshing to get an honest evaluation on a daylily especially if it's less then stellar (Indigo Ruffles). Appreciate yours as always........Maryl

Chris and Nat - I don't know whether the shape will improve on Indigo Ruffles or not. The bloom is so large and the ruffles are so heavy, it has trouble holding its shape. so far, I've only had one round bloom. The earlier flowers were more pink than purple, so I doubt I will see this dark color very often. This photo was taken after a cool night. We normally don't have many of those here.

Red Edition is gorgeous. I look forward to your evaluation after the coming winter. I second Maryl's comments about evaluations in posts. I use this forum primarily because I am looking for useful information about cultivars and realistic photos.
