They do look very good after the rain.
Tropical Spice is pretty and I like Peggy Jeffcoat, I find this type of double more appealing than usual doubles. Those two are my favorites.
I am a little bit disappointed in Lavender Heartthrob here, low bud count and flower form is not what I expected.
Oh my, 6 years wait for Joan Senior, that's long! I have it too. Didn't bloom first couple years, did very good its third year, got sick last year, no blooms, and down to two small fans this year, no flowers either. I'll give it another year, just because I love whites.

Tropical Spice is a gorgeous color, and Peggy Jeffcoat is a beautiful double. Joan Senior started behaving here only after I threatened shovel pruning...a wonderful plant since.

Tropical Spice is my favorite and it looks like it has quite a few buds left. I'm not a doubles fan, but Peggy Jeffcoat does look very pretty.

Thanks. Tropical Spice is darker than it was last year. I like both the brighter color last year and the darker color this year, eager to see what color she will be next year! A lot of my short daylilies came up even shorter this year. Peggy Jeffcoat is only about 10". Hopefully it will improve next year. Lavender Heartthrob is new this year so I can't really say anything about it's performance. Because she flowered nicely this year, JS has 1 more year to show her stuff. If she doesn't do anything next year, I'll get rid of her. I do have one of her seedlings that has a better flower and is late flowering so I will replace her with that one. Marg

Really like Lavender Heartthrob and Tropical Spice......the brighter colors catch my eye tonight.

Peggy also has pinkish tones here in cooler weather. A very reliable bloomer!

Marg, they are looking good. I have very few blooms because I have no lates. Joan Senior is the whitest of the whites, I think. Ellie
