| In our 110+ degree heat there are a few plants that I can count on. One of them is Portulaca. I have it planted all over the place. It reseeds with abandon and new plants spring up during late summer when the old ones finally poop out. Your colorful basket shows why I like them so much. The zinnias may be part of the "Profusion" series and though they haven't been as successful for me as the Portulacas, they still do a good job. Look how well they are doing in your garden...Thanks for sharing Jean. I always enjoy seeing what does well for you...Maryl |

| Jean, thanks for the kind thoughts. A huge greenish pink "cloud" started moving over our house Sunday and we thought at first it might be rain. Foolish thought that was. It was all the smoke from the fires around us. They never got really close to our area, other then the smoke. I heard today that the fire that was closest to our town was deliberately set. They saw someone toss a lighted newspaper out the car window onto the grass. There are a bunch of sickos out there this summer.....Maryl |
