Cranberry Cove is a nice smaller flower. The color is interesting. Tupac Amaru, as a Hanson, should do well for you.

I've never been enthused about Catherine Woodbury, nice enough, but not a heavy bloomer & no rebloom, foliage goes through an especially rough looking period too after blooming.

I have TUPAC AMARU and love it. It is beautiful. I can't speak to it's performance, since I'm growing it in a pot - but as mantis said, it's a Hanson and should do very well for you. Here's a picture of it with SUPREME EMPIRE on a rainy morning (please ignore the ugly background).

Thanks for the responses. I have to admit that I looked all of them up before I went but never had planned on any specific color pairings, glad it worked out! I had just found out about this nursery and they were selling daylilies at $5 a pot with 4-5 fans (sometimes more) per pot. I couldn't resist. Catherine Woodbery. I agree with other posts...it looks a little ratty after flowering.

This is the 4th year for Tupac Amaru here. It had 9 fans and 8 scapes last year so multiplied okay but just hasn't impressed me. Maybe it loved the heat this year I don't know but it was gorgeous. It finally looked how I was expecting.
Where did you get all these bargains?

I really like Tupac Amaru. It does well for me.

I went over to Wroxeter to Riverbend Gardens. They have a sight up but no pictures yet. They also have a load of hostas so I'm going back for some of them next year, probably more daylilies to! Forgot to mention, they close on Labor Day weekend - Monday I believe. Marg

Of those varieties, I only have Tupac Amaru. It's growing in some really terrible clay and I haven't moved it because it does well, notwithstanding poor substrate, no extra water and a neglectful weeder. Tough as nails.
