This is my 3rd year using and I only have the cultivar name in bold, and I haven't noticed any difference. So far they have held up well.

I've used Avery clear laser labels for years over painted markers. Just be sure that you use a laser printer. Ink jet will not hold up.

When you decide for whatever reason to re-use
the marker do you:
a put the new label over top of the old one
or
b scrape the old one off?

FF - This spring I got rid of 50 or so cvs and slapped new labels over the old. Time will tell but the news ones have held up this season.
