how big is the bloom?and when is the bloom period, early, mid, or late.

the bloom was around 5". I would say mid season here in Ottawa. It flowered from mid July to mid August. Very profusely for it's second year with me.

Carole, where did you buy it? Perhaps you can go back and they will be able to tell you.

I now believe it's "Daring Dilemma" Salter 1992. It's registered as "Color: cream tinted pink with plum edge and plum eyezone above green throat " Height 24 and bloom size 5.

I would guess it is PRICKLED PETALS. The rest of ;your
description sounds right. I bought it from----darn, I can't remember.
