I don't know about inside, but I grow them in a heated greenhouse, but leave them outside unless it is extremely cold, then take them in. But I'm zomne 8a. Hear from those in your zone and see what they tell you.

Years ago I had some that arrived a day after a heavy snow. Potted them up, some bloomed even. Then planted them in the spring. Only issue I had were mites. Showered them away.
