Davinci Gold. Love this one but it sits lower in the foliage.

Victorian Days. My favorite one! I love the colors on this one. This shot however is darker due to a chilly morning ( actually more of a mauve color). It does not do it justice.

We haven't had a Munson thread in a while. Jan, TweetyPie who posted here until she started traveling with her husband, had a tremendous number of Munson's, and she would usually be the one who started the thread.

Lexington Avenue is extremely vigorous. It's not particularly well budded, and like most Munsons, not very sunfast, but it looked very good this year (lots of overcast days).Cherry Chapeau has not been vigorous here. Cameroons is a very good plant and more sunfast than many Munsons. Devil's Magic, which you posted earlier, is very dark, but not well budded here. Also needs some shade.

Like Mantis I've found that many Munson's have low budcounts here. This one has been an exception and is well budded. I do think many of them are beautiful. Which ones have high budcounts for you?

Really nice pictures everyone! I agree that alot of mine don't have the best bud counts but the beautiful flowers keep them here :) I never actually count buds, but I can say my best budded are- Davinci Gold, Damascan velvet, Canton Harbor, Manhattan Night, Devi's Magic, and by far the best - Ruffles Elegant. I never got a good picture of that this year however. The one bad quality to it though is that it has too many buds! It is not well branched and the flowers get hooked up on them alot.

Well, mine have been posted and I don't want to sort through Photobucket. I have many of those but I seemed to have ..misplaced... Cherry Chapeau.

BTW, tweety pie posts a lot on Facebook, especially Munsons...

I only have two, Court Magician and Ruffled Lemon Piping. CM doesn't open well, but when it does it is very pretty. Oh, also have Russian Rhapsody.
