the first photo above is a hosta called "Whirlwind" I really like it. These photos are from the last garden on the tour last weekend... below is a photo of a hosta I want, Revolution. and the daylily below is 'Wild Berries 'N Cream' (Begnaud 1998).

and this next daylily below is called 'In with the Out Crowd' (J Davisson 2008).

Dean, that last photo just transported me cross-country! Such a restful scene. All the work is finished!

I'm just loving the hosta here. Much happier than in OKC. Poor little things just begged to be moved! Last year I had 3 flower scapes on one that I thought turned into a giant! This weekend it sent up ELEVEN scapes! Photographs promised.

A very nice tiered garden! I wonder if the soil doesn't dry out quickly on those terraces. Revolution was not a strong grower for me, but it certainly looks good in your pic. I think that Whirlwind loses that crisp variegation later in the season (in my climate at least).
