I didn't respond initially to your post because I don't grow TK. Visiting the Lily Farm when the first crop of TK seedlings were blooming, I have to say they were eye-catching! When you look at the AHS database in an advanced search with TK as parent, there are 44 registrations from TK through 2012. I'm sure we will see more!

Jack was hanging onto his TK seedlings when I tried to purchase one. The thing about a flower like TK is that it opens new horizons in hybridizing. In that sense it isn't a "finished flower", but it is "new horizons"!

The only thing close to it at the time on the Lily Farm was Cosmic Design. Jack wouldn't let me purchase it because he felt it was unfinished. Kind of funny when you look back on incidents like this.

I hope others respond as to TK's garden worthiness.

Thanks for the reply Judy. :) I wondered what unfinished flower meant... I thought maybe it wasn't a good garden flower, but I like your explanation better. I've only seen pics of the kaleidoscopes, but think they're gorgeous flowers. Received Cosmic K. this spring and it looks good going into fall. - I'm crossing my fingers it comes through the winter with flying colors.
