I'm sure your daylilies will appreciate the move. A lot of mine are getting too much shade now.

You are sounding more & more like Rita! Sounds like your garden will look very different next year, & I bet the daylilies will be appreciative.
I moved a bunch of daylilies earlier, meant to move a few more, but we got some cold weather & I was afraid I was moving them too late. The last couple of weeks or so have been really nice, I really should have moved the rest, but got out of the "mood". I've been busy raking leaves & mulching the last few days though.

Ha-ha! Too funny. Glad I am not the only person to move plenty of my daylilies around. I always like it much better after I am done anyway. And by taking down that tree, well, it seems like the perfect place for a daylily garden.

Rita, I have now moved about two thirds of what I planned to move from the reworked bed. The path has to be reset since the Japanese Maple is so much larger now. I am sure that Hard time will be much happier in it's new place.

I also need to move the last two that are under the New Dawn, but I plan to make room for them in the iris bed in front of them. Several iris are goners. Some duplicates are goners. All in all I will be much happier, I think.

Thats the thing about gardens. They simply can not be left alone. Things always need changing around so that the entire garden gets better.
