| I was working in the garden today, and was listing the new order of plants in one bed...when I realized there was a plant with several fresh dark green fans about 5 inches tall. It was Polkville Princess, a plant from Paul Owens that had not come back this spring, and I had given up for lost.
I almost ordered a replacement plant, and intended to do so which is whay the label remained in place. At least that is one fewer that the voles or the crown rot got last year. But can you believe it waited until fall to stick its fans out? kay |

| That is great Kay! I hate to lose a plant especially one I'm very fond of. I hope it blooms well for you next year! I'm not familiar with that cultivar, I'm going to go and have a peek at it. Rena' |

| That is beautiful Kay! Wow over 300 cultivars, that's wonderful! I know who to come to when I have questions! What would you compare the fragrance to gardenia, honeysuckle fruity? I am a sucker for plants that are fragrant. Our neighbor has cows so I am always looking for more fragrance to combat the horrible odors associated with that! That was one of the things I based a lot of my iris purchase's on, fragrance. Rena' |

| Yes, it is a bit of a honeysuckle...very pleasant fragrance. Thank you all for celebrating with me. I still find it hard to beleive it went through the entire summer with nothing then put up four fans! |
