That is great Kay! I hate to lose a plant especially one I'm very fond of. I hope it blooms well for you next year! I'm not familiar with that cultivar, I'm going to go and have a peek at it.

What would you compare the fragrance to gardenia, honeysuckle fruity? I am a sucker for plants that are fragrant. Our neighbor has cows so I am always looking for more fragrance to combat the horrible odors associated with that!

That was one of the things I based a lot of my iris purchase's on, fragrance.

Yes, it is a bit of a honeysuckle...very pleasant fragrance.

Thank you all for celebrating with me. I still find it hard to beleive it went through the entire summer with nothing then put up four fans!
