Korth 2010 Intros

Phil Korth has his 2010 intros posted on his website. All of us regulars here know by now that this is one of my very favorite hybridizers.

I know that he sends out a fall newsletter with the intros before he puts them up on the website but for some reason I didn't get one this year so was not ready for the website update. Drat cyberspase eating up my newsletter.

At any rate I had seen pictures of some of them and knew there were some drop dead gorgeous stunners there, just had no other info. I have not yet decided on which I will buy as I only saw the update late last night.

Here is a link that might be useful: Pinewood Gardens

Something I only really noticed just now looking at at the 2009 and prior intros is that the prices are slashed in half from last year. This is new as last year, prices on something older than that, were not nearly as low. Daylilies must not be selling that well and maybe everyone is feeling the pinch.

I 'm with you Rita I love P. Korth flowers--they grew so well here--I also bought a seedling from Phil and It's beautiful.
His prices are good and product wonderful/hardy---

I think the market is poor all across the board in the DL world--Yet it cost a ton to breed and keep up green houses ect???
I really bought a nice bunch while I was A MADWOEMAN on the DL auction--
now to enjoy and see who likes it here or not--cole

So to update, I found out my newsletter was not lost in cyberspace, there just wasn't one this fall.

Meantime I decided on and sent my order which is AUGUST GROOM, HELLO DARKNESS, NEW COVENENT and ROOTED IN LOVE. So much for my saying I wasn't ordering much this year. Still, it is a lot less than last year when I ordered the entire 2009 collection and some of the 2008s also.
