Over 200 daylilies now. Weeds beyond hoe control. Any safe herbicide to control broadleaf weeds in daylilies???

RE: Weed control

Snapshot and Preen have been recommended here at the forum. I didn't have much success with either one of them. Best approach for me was to put cardboard or 8 layers of newspaper down, and cover with mulch. We are now using 4-pronged cultivator and hoe (the kind that is a loop on the end), and just simply staying after it a little at a time. Winter will help. This has been our worst year for weeds in six years of raising daylilies.

RE: Weed control

Weeds Has been bad this year, but, I put out preen after I weeded a bed,and that kept most of them out.have one bed the weeds just took over it, but,I pull out a handful every time I go out and almost have it weed free.I will probably use some round up on some of them, at least on the ones that dont have a daylily close by .
