That's a cool-looking daylily and she opens nicely for so late. Wonder why she took so long to bloom? Is it a new one? I guess she just 'knew' she would look even more beautiful to all our eyes now that we are starved for blooms...LOL.

Ellie, that is a great one"! I like its perky little face and green throat! Glad you were able to see it bloom. I know it's always a bummer when you get a good-sized new plant and don't get to see anything that first year.

Celeste, DML is not new to me. I've had her about four years and I was very surprised that she is blooming so late. This is an ffo for sure!!

Yes they are Val and very rare for me. I have several scapes coming on different ones that will be re-bloom with and exception ( 2 ) of some new ones from Maryotts...

Crackingtheconcrete, she is not a new one but yes, it's a bummer not to see the new ones bloom...

She is a cutie Rita. Even prettier when she has multiple blooms.

Well Jean, we all have different tastes but for myself, I like all shapes and really like the spiders and uf's. She doesn't have as much color as usual though.

Thank you all for your comments!! Ellie

Great looking bloom, I guess Miss Lizzy didn't you to go a whole year without seeing you, but how strange it waited so late.

It's nice to see your pretty Dizzy Miss Lizzy. Mine did not bloom this year. I think it's in too much shade and will have to be moved to bloom next year.

Thank you Linda. I am partial to her color too!

ngraham, since I think about it and researched a little, she didn't bloom last year at all...not even a late bloom..

So crazy Debra...mine is in full sun but is sooo late. I wonder why. If you have any idea, please post them as this isn't the only lagger I've had this year!

Thank you folks for dropping in on this thread...Ellie

Thanks for posting the pictures! I had seen it on a site here but the color was off. Now I can see I have to have it. It's really nice to have fall blooms isn't it? I still have May May blooming but it's getting colder here so I don't expect much bloom anymore. Marg
