| Bill just listed his 2010 intros and I really like his Irish Halo. I ordered it as well as his Kennesaw Mountain Hayride from 08. Sorry I don't know how to put a link, you can copy and paste.

Thanks for posting the info Dot, he has a couple I'm drooling over. I especially like the Caribbean Blue but the Irish Halo you ordered is gorgeous too. Can't wait to see your pics! Nancy |

| Really nice photos of his gardens which I notice appear all to be raised up. Have you purchased from them before? VIRGIL’S SUSPENDERS looks alot like one of my seedlings here. Love the red. Do you know if they are on the 2010 tour next year or is it too far from the other tour gardens? Julia |

| I like Diane's Lemon Curls. I like the looks of Irish Halo and Emerald Lace but would prefer a higher bud count. Edward |

| I have read that Bill actually understates the bud count and branching so that people will be pleasantly surprised when the plant actually does better than described. |

| I don't think the Waldops are on the National tour in 2010. But they might be one of the open gardens. That list isn't out yet. I have his KENNESAW MOUNTAIN HAYRIDE, and have to say it is one that looked almost exactly like the picture when it blooms here. That doesn't always happen w/ a new plant. It is still only 2 fans, but hope that it will really show off when it becomes established. |

Unless you are driving and have some time, it would be difficult to be at the National and then go to the Waldrop's. The National is in Valdosta which is close to the Florida border, and Bill is north of Atlanta - - probably about 200 miles north of Valdosta. Of course, both Valdosta and Kennesaw Mountain Daylily Garden are accessible from I-75, so if you are driving down on I-75, the stop might be possible. We are very fortunate as Bill is speaking at our local daylily club meeting in Augusta this Sunday afternoon. Larry |

| Two clubs in our Region ( Reg.3) are driving a bus down and they have some stops planned already. I believe they are stopping in Savannah for sure. Since air flight is so difficult into Valdosta, I've heard a lot of people in my area say they're driving. Last fall we had to fly into Valdosta and we were delayed by bad weather at the Atlanta airport(some 5 hours.) We thought about renting a car, but were told that it was at least a 3 1/2 hour drive south of Atlanta. So Waldrops are a huge distance away, huh? Aren't they fairly close to Stone Mountain? |

| Marietta, GA, and Stone Mountain are about 30 miles apart. If you are driving it during the mid-day or on weekends, it might take you 35-45 minutes. But if you are driving it between 7-10AM or 4-6PM on weekdays, it could take forever! Rush hour traffic is awful in the greater Atlanta area, but particularly bad on the northern side. |

| sweatin_in_ga: I guess I need to go get a map of Georgia and start looking for where the hybridizers are that I want to visit and see if they will even be open during the National. Julia |
