That's my baby....lol. I'm so excited to see it thriving for you there. You know it's a good cultivar when it grows well in different climates and parts of the country. I have always thought it was one that doesn't get a lot of attention, but should.

its very pretty, too. Lucky you to have a bloom this time of year.Do you grow some of your daylilies in a greenhouse?Its gotten mighty cold at night lately to have a bloom on anything,24 here last 2 or 3 nights.I have a few rose blooms but, that's it.no liliy blooms.

Celeste and Jean, glad to hear from you. Yes, Celeste, this is your baby and you are absolutely right that it merits much more attention than it gets. Jean, we do not have a greenhouse, everything grown here is in the open. How about this, So Lovely put up another scape and it has two rather large buds on it plus making three more. If this one blooms, that will be one for the books, since we have had at least three days of 20 degree temps. Avedon

Holy moley mamma. I'm looking at a blanket of snow out my window and yet on my moniter I see a recent daylily bloom from someone NOT in Florida or California. Seems strange to me. Even my pansies have collapsed from this recent arctic blast. Must be one heck of a cold tolerant variety. Thanks for telling us about it.....Maryl
