Hi everyone. I saw an announcement on the AHS robin that Bryan Culvers website had been updated with the 2010 intros. So I had to look right away as I have been very impatiently waiting for the official announcement so I could pick my favorites and order some!

I already put my order in!!! I ordered last years intro KENORA WILDFIRE because it looks lovely and I have read so many positive great comments about it. Then also four of the 2010s. Of course I had to get EYEPOD, I was really, really waiting for that one to come out for a long time. This award winning daylily is a poster child for the trpe of daylily that I am looking for in my garden.

I had to go for TAX MAN BILL because of that increadable yellow gold color, HARVEST HOUSE because I love orange and this looks like a great one and GENUINE LADY because it was such a pretty true pink.

I see the seedling pages are also redone with lots of new seedling information. I just glanced at it quickly but will be reading it entirely when I have alittle more time.

Go check them out for Yourself :-))

I can see why you had to get EYEPOD. It's very pretty and it is 42" tall. NICE!!

What I like about the pictures is that there are also clump shots showing all those blooms and branching. And they look very natural, like they haven't been retouched.

Thanks for the info.

Hi,
I am purchasing some daylilies from Bryan Culver as well. We were down there this summer and I took photos of some of the rows that weren't even blooming yet. The scapes were just loaded with buds. I have a lovely photo of Eyepod's sibling. I like the color better. Just my preference. I hope it gets released soon. He had some other wonderful seedlings too.

Bryan's plants always have really great plant habits and branching. I just love that. Of course, thats no good without pretty flowers. I do find the pictures on his website accurate representatuions of his flowers except for the fact that when they bloom, they just look prettier than the pictures.

Wow, I'd have to get 'Sun Panda' and 'Genuine Lady' - they are gorgeous.

Like Rita says , Culver's plants perform here in the great white north. I have started adding two or three of his each year. They are great plants. Cheers, lloyd

Thanks for mentioning the Culver introductions. I live about 1/2 hr. from his home, but had completely forgotten about him. I don't buy new intros. (too pricey) but he has several older ones as low as $20.
