| OK, I just have to say this. These intros are nice, pretty blooms and all that, but it is difficult to understand why these are commanding such high dollar prices. Maybe someone can explain this? |

Can't explain it but I refer to the theory of "auction frenzy". I love Gaskins daylilies and have 2 so far but not willing to part with that much for a single fan. I also see that most look exactly like their other daylilies which are already registered. Perhaps someone can point out the differences as I'm not seeing it.
I was also surprised when I checked their website and found they had not even listed their 2010 Intros online. So is the LA now Gaskins source for all their sales ? |

| JuliaNY, I have to agree w/ what you're saying. I'm willing to pay the $$ for something distinctive and unique, but these do not seem to be that unique. Well, good luck to all who are bidding. It seems quite a frenzy! |

| Its crazy, I agree. Duke of Gascone is a great DL, why intro another that is so close. Not a single one has a fresh and new color pattern. Oh well, if they can command such a price, more power to them. They will not get it from me though. I was really waiting to see these new intros, expecting something out of this world. I am a bit disappointed. Bob |

| The one w/ the sculpting looks interesting, but not enough to motivate me to pay those high dollar amounts. I just have to wonder if these are being bought by people to use mostly as breeding plants rather than garden plants? |

| I guess they will be selling mostly on the LA . Saw this on one of the listings. WE WILL HAVE 10 INTRODUCTIONS FOR 2010 AND PLAN TO SELL MOST OF THEM ON THE AUCTION. ALL OF OUR INTROS ARE LIMITED. Julia |

starting to all look alike--how about garden hardness and maybe a nice bud count???? that would be a blessing--
I love to look at a beautiful face --but a KNOCK OUT CLUMP
