Owen 2010 Intros

Paul Owen just announced on his newsletter that the 2010 intros are up.

I had seen pictures of these about two weeks ago but those had no stats with them or other information. I still absolutely love FEELIN' FRISKY, that throat pattern is gorgeous and I love hot colored daylilies.

Here is a link that might be useful: Slightly Different Nursery 2010 Intros

Rita,

That one caught my eye too. And I just love Tempest in a Tutu. I'll keep dreaming.

I did it, I had to have 'Little Miss Lucy'.
First time I ever ordered an intro. So glad it was one of Paul's.

$75 for a phyto makes me very sad. That's a deal breaker for me :-(

I put three in my shopping cart last night but then I decided to wait and sleep on it before making a final decision. But I am going to get something I am sure. Too much temptation there to resist!

While Paul has some nice stuff, I don't see getting any until there is a Canadian distributor or a Canadian seller that starts buying his stuff. My favorite this year is Polkville Princess. My overall favorite is Butterfly Ann.

I've already got too much in my "shopping cart" at other places so no sale here. Paul looks to be one heck of a nice guy and reminds me of Howie Long who does the commericals for one of the car companies.

uroboros5: Yikes, $75 for a phyto to Canada??? You should ask Paul if he ships to any growers in Canada and pick it up from them. Can't hurt to ask.

I am really, really trying not to buy this year but geez, when I see these gorgeous daylilies I have to get my favorites. I am hopeless.

Nina- Once you take the plunge there is no going back!!!

RE: Owen 2010 Intros

I just put my daylilies back in the shopping cart and decided on two of the three Owen Intros that I was thinking on. I decided that I could think on them for another week and not get any smarter so I just hit the send order. Too much thinking only leads to concusion anyway. Just too many pretties to choose from but I have other places to buy from so best be conservative with my spending.

I thought about what to buy and decided to go for two of my original three. I just sent in the order for FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS and FEELIN' FRISKY. I thought FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS was really pretty but went for it because its a late bloomer. I am always looking for more late bloomers to add. Then FEELIN' FRISKY was my pick of the entire bunch, the one that I liked best of all the intros. So might as well buy it.

I heard back from Paul, so my order is official. He sure is happy about all the orders coming in. I am sure all those speaking engagements have started to pay off as more and more people become aware of him. Plus it never hurts to announce it here at the Forum so that people at least go over and look at the intros.

If you haven't ordered form Paul, please do. Super nice guy,
great products. I'm in Tx (Weldon TX, duh) and his own crosses as well as other's that he sells do very well here.
Our e-mail conversations are as if we were face to face.
Give him a try.

Weldon
and this is NOT a paid advertisement......come to think of it,
Paul?????
