Will deer eat my Wisteria Tree?

I planted a Wisteria tree in the fall and I have chicken wire rigged up around it. It looks ugly to me and I want to take it down, but I'm afraid the deer will chow on it. Will they?

the deer dont seem to care for mine. I have never seen them near it, while some of my other trees they are striping clean in the spring and summer.

I don't think they'll eat wisteria, and "my" deer are now eating my daffodils!

Nope, "my" deer will even eat peonies but they've never tried my wisteria for some reason. Now Japanese Beetles are another story...
